Since 1985, S.L. Services has provided staging, lighting, and equipment rentals for events in southern Santa Barbara county. We have worked with performing arts groups, non-profit organizations, and locals to supply and install rental equipment for any venue, including festivals, concerts, weddings, and more.
We can provide platforming and stages in various sizes and heights, music stands, music stand lights, lighting and other equipment in a fast and courteous manner, on your timeline and at an affordable price.
We are a local, family-owned business with years of experience. Second generation, Luke Smith, has taken over the company after working in the business for the last 15 years.
Our platforms come in 4 x 8 sections — heights begin at at 6” and increase in 6” increments up to 3’. Each platform is made of wood and easy to install, so there is no waiting for heavy steel!
We deliver and install all equipment, and we are available to work nights and weekends depending on your event.
Our platforms have been used at the high schools and UCSB for graduations, at weddings for bands and performers, as orchestra risers, as stage for speakers in outdoor settings, and for the Avocado Festival and Fiesta.
